I’m a running a trial version of XtoDvd v188.8.131.527 and have a question before I make a purchase decision. No matter what authoring software I have used in the past, I have always written the Dvd folders to my hard drive and used ImgBurn to burn the projects. Since I do not plan to use XtoDvd’s burn feature, can I remove or disable (via Device Manager) the Pcouffin driver??
I'm running XP Pro SP3 wIE7. TIA PS—I am impressed with the Menu choices and VERY impressed with the current Manual (only suggestion is a table of contents and/or index).

Many people want to convert and burn automatically after conversion. Many people wouldn't have a clue what the 'optional' choice would mean if it popped up and asked if they wanted to add this driver. However you, as an obviously experienced computer person who also doesn't want to use both the conversion and burning attributes of ConvertX, can just uninstall any burning drivers you don't wish to have that might come with any software you might install.
